At Moncrief Game Changer we believe in changing the trajectory of a student’s life through creating unique experiences. Experiences along with exposing students to different careers and lifestyle options will improve their chances for success. Learning becomes more enjoyable and sustainable when tied to a unique experience. By using the concepts of G.R.I.T and Social and Emotional Learning, Moncrief Game Changer is able to prepare these young people for growth and achievement.
We offer creative solutions such as entrepreneurship learning experiences to adolescent youth between the ages of 12 and 15 years old. While at this learning experience students will learn business principles, social and relationship-building skills.
From the entrepreneurship sessions, select students have the opportunity to attend a regional experience in which they are paired with CEOs and local entrepreneurs for shadowing opportunities to learn about different businesses and get the exposure that they would not likely have otherwise. After the regional experience, select students are awarded the opportunity to experience the NYC experience in which they see and explore the diversity of entrepreneurship and business in places such as Harlem and Manhattan.
